Midweek Meetup: Week of March 6

Jesus, You save us by grace through faith. Help us to have the strength to extend that same grace to the people around us and stop casting judgment. Amen.

What’s new?

Meeting Jesus This Holy Week, March 24-30, is an “Invite-a-Friend” Week, as we encourage you to invite friends, neighbors, and others to the worship and ministries of the church, so they can know the saving love of Jesus Christ. Kids & youth, we’ll recognize you when you bring friends to Junction Kids, ARK or Youth Groups that week.

Meeting Friends Every Friday in Lent, we gather with brothers and sisters in Christ from church throughout the area for our Lenten Worship & Soup Supper at 6 p.m. This Friday, March 8, we’re at the La Junta Methodist Church (enter from 6th Street), and next Friday, March 15, we’re here at home at First Church.  

Sharing Hope Our Easter Offering supports The Place, an outreach to homeless youth in Colorado Springs and throughout Southern Colorado.  We’ll receive the offering in worship on Palm Sunday and Easter, or give any time online.  For more about The Place, visit www.theplacecos.org.
