Midweek Meetup: Week of April 3

Verse of the Day: [The young man said] “But go, tell His disciples and Peter that He is going before you to Galilee. There you will see Him, just as He told you” (Mark 16:7).

Jesus, We know that You go before us into every conversation, situation, and challenge we might face, just like You went ahead into Galilee. Knowing You’re already there, we can live with confidence. Thank You. Amen.

He is risen of course! Alleluia. Amen. 

Meeting Jesus ~ Are you sensing God’s call to join the church, be baptized (yourself or your children), or renew your baptism? If yes, you’re invited to meet with the church elders on Sunday, April 7, after worship in the Cranson Room. If you’re unable to join us, please contact Pastor MJ as soon as you can.

Meeting Friends ~ This year’s Spring Festival, Sunday, April 21, 11 am to 1 pm, is our  gift to the community. Come and bring friends to the fun. We’ll have games, food, a bouncy house and a petting zoo.

Sharing Hope ~ We already received close to $2000 for this year’s Easter Offering to The Place in Colorado Springs (www.theplacecos.org), which offers shelter, care, and hope to homeless youth and young adults. We’ll receive your offerings one more week before forwarding the funds to them. 

Finally ~ This Friday at 11 a.m., we will host the funeral of Nakia Fisher’s father George Mitchell. Please keep Neil & Nakia, mom Peg Crowder, and sister Shawnee Wait, along with their extended families, in your prayers…Also, a gathering to celebrate the life of Dave MacRunnel is happening this Saturday, April 6, 11-2 at Odell Brewery in Fort Collins. Please keep his wife, Brianne Bradfield MacRunnel, along Meredith & Jerry and extended family, in your prayers. 

Plus ~ A huge thank you to the many hearts and hands who came together to prepare worship & fellowship this week! There are more of you than we can name without missing someone, so know that your care and efforts were known by Christ and appreciated by your church family!
