What’s new?

Meeting Jesus ~ New! Come to "With the angels in the Garden" on Good Friday, March 29. It’s an immersive Good Friday experience.  Arrive early, any time between 6-7 p.m., for soup and sandwiches.

Meeting Friends ~ Make this Holy Week (March 24-31) your chance to invite a friend. We’ll have special incentives for kids and youth who bring guests to their midweek ministries, and we hope all of us will make that special effort to welcome someone to experience the hope of Jesus Christ.

Sharing Hope ~ This year’s Easter Offering benefits The Place in Colorado Springs (www.theplacecos.org). The Place offers shelter, care, and hope to homeless youth and young adults. We’ll receive your gifts in worship on Palm Sunday and Easter, or any time online (www.firstchurchlajunta/give.org). 

Also…Many of you will have heard the sad news that Jerry and Meredith Bradfield’s son-in-law Dave MacRunnel died on Sunday after a long battle with cancer.  No service is planned until later in April.  Please keep Brianne, her parents & family, Dave’s family, and their many friends in your prayers for comfort and peace.
