Verse of the Day~

“And no one pours new wine into old wineskins. Otherwise, the new wine will burst the skins; the wine will run out and the wineskins will be ruined. No, new wine must be poured into new wineskins.” (Luke 5:37-38)

Prayer~

Jesus, help us get unstuck. We keep doing the things we’ve been doing, even when those things don’t work and, even worse, lead us away from You. Give us courage to embrace the new and strength to let go of the old. Amen.

Meeting Jesus ~ How do we pray when life is going wrong? Join us for our four week worship series on prayer as the prophet Jonah teaches us the prayer of complaint. Steve Elwood will sing, “Lord I Hope This Day Is Good.” Please stay for a few minutes after worship for our Annual Congregational Meeting.
