Verse of the Day~ 

“Do you understand what I have done for you?” Jesus asked them. “You call me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord,’ and rightly so, for that is what I am. Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet. (John 13:12-14)

Prayer~

Jesus, You gave us this example. You commanded us to serve. Give us the energy to do just this, even when we’re tired, confused, and stubborn. Help us love as You love us. Amen. 

Meeting Jesus ~

At our Rainforest Falls VBS, kids will learn the stories of Jesus and come to know God’s love. The dates are Sunday, July 26 through Thursday, July 30, from 6-8:30 p.m. Kids can come to as many sessions as your family’s busy schedules will allow. Meeting Friends ~ 

Join us for our upcoming Annual Potluck & Pool Party on August 2 starting at 5:30pm with our potluck. Come ready for an evening of fun, food, and great company. All are welcome (it’s a big pool!) so bring friends and family.  For the potluck, we ask everyone to bring a dish to share, along with your own place settings (plate, cup, and utensils). The pool opens at 6:30pm.

Sharing Hope ~ 

We have committed to helping out at the East Otero School District’s Back to School Bash on August 4 from 4-7 p.m. Specifically, we’ve committed to offering school and classroom supplies. If you are available to help before and during the Bash, please see Pastor MJ. This is a great way to help some families in need while sharing the good news of Jesus and our church ministries with the community.

Finally~

You’ll be glad to hear that our student missionaries returned safe and sound from New Mexico. We’ll share about our experiences later this summer in worship.
