Prayer~

Jesus, You amaze me all the time. When I’m at the end of my rope. When I see no possible options. When I just have no idea what’s going to happen next, You do a marvelous thing right before my eyes. I can’t wait to see what’s next. Amen.

Meeting Jesus ~ 

The holidays are a hard time for anyone who’s struggling. As Thanksgiving and Christmas approach, it’s more important than ever to share a word of Hope in Jesus Christ. Invite the people you know to a worship service, the pie social, a concert, the pageant, or any of the ministries happening until the end of 2025. 

Meeting Friends ~ 

Speaking of the pie social, how could we forget?  Bring a pie to share (along with any toppings) on Sunday, November 23, after worship. Stay afterwards to decorate for Advent and Christmas. It’s the most wonderful time of the year, and Jesus is the reason.

Sharing Hope ~ 

“Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.” (Matthew 25:40). Whenever temperatures reach dangerous lows, Otero County opens warming shelters for the unhoused or anyone whose housing doesn’t have adequate heat. If you’d like to volunteer at one of these shelters, there is a training happening Thursday, November 20, 11:30-1:30. Pastor MJ has already signed up to be there.
