Midweek Meetup: Week of April 17

Jesus, We have so much to learn from You. Teach us, and then help us live out those teachings in how we honor You and treat one other. We pray in Your name, Amen.

Meeting Jesus ~ The next couple of Sunday worships bring some very special preachers. This Sunday, April 21, Sarah Petramala takes a turn in the pulpit, again with her friend Sarah Johnson Hardwick, as they teach on the Ascension in Luke 24:50-53. The following Sunday, April 28, is Graduation Sunday, and our very own David Mackey will be coming down from the AV booth to speak on Acts 9. Please join us!

Meeting Friends ~ It’s finally here! This year’s Spring Festival, Sunday, April 21, 11 am to 1 pm, is our gift to the community. Come and bring friends to the fun. We’ll have games, food, a bouncy house and a petting zoo. Pastor MJ will have a Blessing of the Pets, too, so bring your furry friend (or reptile) for a prayer.

Sharing Hope ~ The Arkansas Valley Hospice is hosting a Grief Camp for kids 6-10 years old who have experienced the loss of a loved one. The camp happens on June 8, 9:30 - 4, at the Rocky Ford Expo Building. We have applications here at the church. Please spread the word!
