Verse of the Day~

When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.

Prayer~

Jesus, Whatever happens today, whatever tomorrow brings, I have nothing to fear. You are with me, and I praise You. Amen.

Meeting Jesus ~ We’re continuing our “Pray at Your Own Risk” worship series at 10 a.m. on Sunday with the Prayer of Repentance. It’s a close cousin of the Prayer of Confession, but it takes us a step farther.  Hear Pastor MJ’s message from Psalm 51, and enjoy Bethany Bender singing, “Surrender.”  

Meeting Friends ~ Junction Kids starts just one week from today. Please share the information with friends and family members with children PreK-5th grade. Registration is on the church website at https://firstchurchlajunta.org/. 

Sharing Hope ~ If you have any gently used coats, jackets, hats or mittens, please consider donating them to Kitchen of Kindness. Just bring your items to church and leave them in the Kitchen of Kindness coat basket in the church foyer.
