Verse of the Day~

When I look at your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars that you have established; what are humans that you are mindful of them, mortals that you care for them? (Psalm 8:3-4)

Prayer~

Lord, the majesty of Your creation is all around me in the small glimpses of beauty–the rain shower, the child’s laugh, the smell of a home cooked meal, and so much more. Train me to notice Your work all around me. Amen.

Meeting Jesus ~

Our Summer Mixtape series continues as we hear Paul’s letter to the church in Ephesus. We’ll read from the Book of Ephesians and hear from Kristin Bickel, singing, “Gracefully Broken.” We’ll honor our dads, stepdads, granddads, dads-in-law, and all the father figures in our lives.

Meeting Friends ~

Speaking of honoring dads, be sure to stay after worship for our Father’s Day Baconfest downstairs in the Fellowship Hall. Yum!

Sharing Hope ~

This Saturday, we have a great chance to serve the community as citizens gather at 6 a.m. to paint and clean up Little Potter Park (across from the Wipe Out). Wear a church t-shirt to let folks know we’re serving Jesus as we’re serving one another.
