Joshua said, “Now I am about to go the way of all the earth. You know with all your heart and soul that not one of all the good promises the Lord your God gave you has failed. Every promise has been fulfilled; not one has failed.” (Joshua 23:14)

Prayer~

God, forgive me when I don’t come to You in prayer with my problems. I can count on You for everything. You are with me. You protect me. You give me life and hope. Thank You. In Your name, I pray. Amen.

Meeting Jesus ~

“True North” VBS is just around the corner on July 20-24th. Please spread the word! Registration is online at firstchurchlajunta.org, or we’ll take walk-in registrations on the evenings we meet.

Note: We need TREES. Sara Holt and the Decorating Crew are in need of artificial Christmas trees (undecorated). If you have one they can borrow, they will come to you to pick it up. Or you can just bring it to church! Call or text Sara Holt at 719-980-0683.

Meeting Friends ~

Our annual Picnic & Pool Party happens on Sunday, July 27th. Come to Pottery Park at 5:30 with a dish to share & a place setting (we’ll have extras if you need it). At 6:30, we’ll head over to the Wipeout. Bring friends! It’s a big pool–we’ve got plenty of room to share.

Sharing Hope ~

We are all about hope this Sunday, as we turn to Paul’s Letter to the Romans in our Summer Mixtape series. We’re extra-excited to welcome Picketwire’s Emma Bryant to sing, “I Am Who You Say I Am.” Don’t miss it.
