Midweek Meetup: Week of August 14th

Verse of the Day: 

“The woman said to him, "I know that Messiah is coming" (who is called Christ). "When he comes, he will proclaim all things to us." Jesus said to her, "I am he, the one who is speaking to you." (John 4:25-26)

Jesus, You are the one, the Messiah. You are my Savior, and I will follow You. Always. Amen.

Meeting Jesus ~ Tables returns this fall to read and discuss the Gospel of Mark. Tables is our small group ministry, meeting once monthly (typically on the first Sunday of the month) in members’ homes for a meal, scripture reading, discussion and prayer. The church supplies the study materials free of charge. Sign ups are available in the church foyer. We encourage you to invite friends and family members to these very meaningful gatherings.

Meeting Friends ~ Big announcement! Our A.R.K. Sunday School moves to 9 a.m. beginning Sunday, September 8. The 9 a.m. spot will give Miss Aricka more time for lessons with the kids, and parents will have the opportunity to join a Bible class of their own.

Sharing Hope ~ Becci Lease will share this Sunday about plans for this year’s Operation Christmas Child collections. Operation Christmas Child collections benefit kids and families around the world with tangible gifts and spiritual support.
