Midweek Meetup: Week of June 12

Verse of the Day: 

“Rise up, O God, and defend your cause; remember how fools mock you all day long.” Psalm 74:22

Father, when we hear from those people who dismiss You and ridicule us as Your followers, help us have words of grace and truth to speak to them. We pray in Your Son’s name, Amen.

Meeting Jesus ~ This Sunday in worship, we reach Jesus teaching on the Law in his Sermon on the Mount. “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets,” He said (Matthew 5:17), so what about grace?  With special music from Janel Lorenzo and a tribute to our fathers.

Meeting Friends ~ Pastor MJ extends her warmest and sincerest thanks for the pastoral anniversary celebration this past Sunday.  “God has blessed me and my family beyond measure in this church family. Thank you from all of us!”

Sharing Hope ~ Our 8 kids, 4 interns, and 1 praise band leader have returned safely from summer camp, having experienced the joy of Christ in community.  They had a bunch of fun too, and it was made possible by your generosity.
