Midweek Meetup: Week of November 26
Verse of the Day~
“The days are coming, declares the Lord, when I will fulfill the good promise I made to the people of Israel and Judah.” (Jeremiah 33:14)
Prayer~
Your promises are sure, Jesus, so give us confidence and hope that these promises will be fulfilled. You will return, and the world will know peace. Amen.
Meeting Jesus ~ The season of Advent, “The Weary World Rejoices,” begins this Sunday, December 1, as we prepare to welcome the newborn King Jesus. Grab a devotional and pray along through the season, worship with us on Sunday mornings, and reach out to neighbors with God’s love. This Sunday, the Tomky/Graham family lights a candle for the Promise of Truth, with Pastor MJ’s message from Jeremiah 33. A quartet will sing, “Tidings of Comfort and Joy.”
Meeting Friends ~ Invite friends and family to our annual Christmas pageant, “Unfrozen: Do You Want to Meet a Savior?” on Sunday, December 15. Christmas dinner happens at 5 p.m. with the pageant at 6 p.m.
Sharing Hope ~ Our Angel Tree is mostly bare, so that means you’re out shopping for the children of incarcerated parents. Please return those gifts by December 10, so Kristen Elwood and her team can deliver them to local families.
Final note: Your financial gifts fund the ministries of the church. If you have not yet submitted your estimate-of-giving card for 2025, please do so as your earliest convenience.
