Verse of the Day ~

“Whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses.” (Mark 11:25)

Prayer ~

Jesus, forgiveness isn’t optional. You command it. It’s only by Your power that I can let go of the hurt. Help me. In Your name, Amen.

Meeting Jesus ~

“Under Pressure” is our new worship series, as we meet Jesus in some of his toughest moments as He offers us some of his most meaningful teachings. We begin in Matthew 18:15-22 on Sunday, with Pastor MJ’s message, “Doing the Hard Thing Anyway.” With special music from Janell Lorenzo-Romero.

Meeting Friends ~

Tonight! September 16, 6:30pm - 8:00pm, join us for our first ever All Church Game Night. Bring your friends, your family, or come alone for a fun night with your church family. We have some serious Yahtzee and Kings in the Corners players, so prepare to be challenged. Finger foods are welcome.

Sharing Hope ~

If you missed the Youth Mission Trip Sunday, you really missed a blessing.The youth gave such faithful testimony to their experience and were brave beyond measure getting up to share in front of the whole church. Find the service online here and then take time to thank them for their service to God through the church the next time you see them.

Special Note~

This weekend, our church is hosting the Fall meeting of the Presbytery of the West (POTW). The POTW is our regional governing body, made up of representatives of the 15 congregations within our bounds. This is a significant effort, so please volunteer if able when you’re called and be in prayer for everyone participating, especially our guest speaker, the Rev. Dr. Bobby Griffith who is traveling from Oklahoma City to teach on the history of evangelicalism. We’ll be sending out a detailed schedule soon.
