Verse of the Day~

“What do you think? If a man has a hundred sheep, and one of them has gone astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine on the mountains and go in search of the one that went astray? And if he finds it, truly, I say to you, he rejoices over it more than over the ninety-nine that never went astray.” (Matthew 18:12-13 RSV)

Prayer~

Lord, help me to not make a false sense of security with my accomplishments and those who surround me; instead I pray to always be seeking out the one person left behind, the one task left untouched, and the hard truths from which I have looked away. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Meeting Jesus~

Join us in worship this summer as we meet Heroes of the Old Testament: Abraham, Sarah, Isaac, Moses, Miriam, Samson, Ruth, and so many more. In each, we’ll find a word of grace and hope in Jesus Christ. We begin this Sunday, May 31, at 10 a.m. as elder Joey Gacnik shares about Abraham from Genesis 12.

Meeting Friends~

Join us on May 31st at 4pm on the last day of the month for our last of the Spring Concert Series, featuring the talents of musicians from around the valley and led by Dean Rees. This concert's performers will include Jacob Martinez, Heather Pidcock-Reed, Kathryn Gates, Kate Pruyn, Demian Ryder, Maria Lavin, and Randy Daniher. You won’t want to miss this!

Sharing Hope~

Our youth and children will be heading out for camp and summer mission trip experiences soon. Thank you for all the ways you have supported them financially. Now, we hope you’ll cover them in prayer. Our Ponderosa campers: Esa, Lacy, and Jake; along with Abigail and Emma (interns) as well as Karl and Chris (adult leaders). Our youth missionaries to Mescalero, New Mexico, are John, Esa, Julian, Abigail, and Aidan, with Brandon and Pastor MJ (adult leaders). Make a point to pray for their spiritual growth and safety.
