Wednesday Word: March 18, 2026

Verse of the Day~

When he entered the house, the blind men came to him, and Jesus said to them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” They said to him, “Yes, Lord.” Then he touched their eyes, saying, “According to your faith let it be done to you.” (Matthew 9:28-29)

Prayer~

Jesus, I want faith like those blind men. I want to know You can heal me. May the Holy Spirit so fill me that I never stray from you again. In Your name, Amen.

Meeting Friends ~ 

Dean Rees leads our first in a series of Spring Pop-Up Concerts for 2026 at 4 p.m. this Sunday, March 22. Other musicians joining Dean will be Kevin Beaber, Lauren Howell, Kathryn Gates, Jacob Martinez, and Karl Ludwig. A free-will donation will be taken.

Sharing Hope ~ 

We had previously announced that this year’s Easter Offering would benefit three community organizations: Emergency Warming Shelter at Calvary Church, Colorado State University’s Extension Office’s English as a Second Language for Adults Classes, and Tiger Trades Academy’s Art Program. Sadly, the Art Program at TTA has been eliminated in the district’s budget cuts. Instead, the final third of this year’s offering will go to support La Junta High School’s music program under the direction of Jacob Martinez. 

Finally–

A special congratulations to Jim and Barb Walter on the birth of their new grandson John Patrick Rogers, born on March 16. Mom Sarah faced some complications, so please keep her in your prayers as she heals.
